I’m so happy they brought this back. Last time I had it was my freshman year of college in 2011 back when it was called Alpine Spring. Had it while watching the Pats blow another Super Bowl while surrounded by Giants, Jets, and Eagles fans
Nah not that I can say. The quality is pretty all over the place. I did have a good ipa when I visited their taproom
House and dog sitting for my in laws as they're at the hospital birthing a human. Raiding their fridge.
So the way I read it is your in laws, who have to be in their 50s or close to it, are currently having a child Which is fine just a rare thing lol
Hahah, it's my wife's brother and his wife. Am I allowed to refer to them as in laws or is that just for my wife's parents? I don't know as the rules yet.
In 2017 at a beer fest I was given a 750 flip top bottle of a vanilla rauchbier that was soured in a barrel by the brewery I currently work for and it legit sat in a fridge ever since. I broke it open and it’s so damn good. Adjuncts are gone but as a dark sour it’s damn good.
I was excited to find this at the grocery store today. Not as thick as I was expecting but it’s still solid, I’m really enjoying it.
Has anyone tried beers from pFriem family out of Oregon? One of their bottles is on Tavour and I was intrigued.
I’ve had a few, I visited their brewery summer 2018 when I was on a big road trip. Some of the best service I’ve ever had at a brewery. Their beers are good too, I really liked their Belgian styles and sours. I’ve heard their stouts are great as well. Which beer is on Tavour?
Their labels are definitely most memorable. They're one of the few companies where I can't turn down their label design and try beer out just based on the label. I do love Baby Shark, though.
Without knowing the price point, I’d say get it. I haven’t had that particular one but their barrel-aged sours are excellent. I think I tried a bottle of their straight-up Oude Kriek before and it was really good.
