It's been said before, but the volume of breweries making solid hazy IPAs has increased tremendously in the last 5 years. The local NY competition has improved so it makes the decision tougher when selecting beers.
Finally cracked this Bottle Logic and the marshmallow is so flowing on it.. And earlier this week cracked this one that @irthesteve procured for me and it was no lie, the best The Bruery beer I've had:
This Threes/Allagash collab Consider the Opposite (wild ale aged in wine barrels w/ wild blueberries) is ridiculously good
I don't know if they still do it, but New Belgium used to give each employee who was there for 1 year one of their red fat tire bikes. After 5 years, they send you to Belgium. At least, they used to. I heard they stopped the Belgium thing a few years back.
I've got access to Bottle Logic and Monkish, though both are a bit hard to get some of their bigger ticket items. I've pretty consistently seen Bottle Logic cans nearby, but haven't paid attention to Monkish for a while so I'm not as tuned in there.
Bottle logic bottles cost a pretty penny. I don’t normally pursue them but we do get a variety of bottles every month or so. They sell pretty fast. Cans too but those aren’t barrel-aged. occasional drops from great notion, no monkish in NorCal unfortunately
