If there was no beer allowed it’s likely more to do with liquor laws than JK themselves not allowing it. I don’t know texas liquor laws but I hear they’re not great.

 

The brewery I work for moved their taproom to an old golf course so our “beer garden” is 64 acres and is an 18 hole disc golf course, fully licensed for beer. I’m very excited to check it out in the summer, I got hired in October so I didn’t get to explore.

Banaversary is back for OHs 7th Anniversary

On the fence if I get this, their stouts haven’t been as good recently, even if this was really popular last year.

 

Looked through your beers, that Holy Ole looks great!

 

Tried that a few weeks into my employment but it wasn’t capped properly and lost its carb.

we won a couple of medals for our gose and a fruit beer in 2020. Actually just canned up a great IPL last week. Hopped with lemondrop/Citra in the kettle and cascade/Citra/lemon drop/strata in the dry hop. 7% and it’s fucking great.

 

I'm coming to visit if this pandemic ever ends.

 

Celebrating (finally) submitting my job application for a really cool nonprofit. It might not sound like much but this is a huge victory for me because it’s the first project I’ve followed through on in a long time. We’ll see what happens but I’m proud I’m giving it my best shot.

Oh yeah and the beer’s great.

didn’t get the BA stouts (sold out) but ordered the regulars. I probably would have gotten the PB one for sure.

also picking up the Monkish/Shared collab. the Shared ‘Freak Weak’ beer is one of my favorite IPA’s I’ve had in a while.

 

I refuse to read any Facebook discussion, but the reactions to the OH anniversary beers have been lukewarm on Beeradvocate. I figured some of it was nitpicking by some die-hard fans.

 

The facebook thread for the OH trading groups are awful. I'm only speaking from personal experience when I say there has been a slight dip in quality. They are still fine beers, but for the price point they sell it I am going to be more selective. It's toned down any FOMO I used to have.

 

I was on the page at 10 am and had to refresh it twice before anything populated. I had the BA Banana in my cart at 10:02 and it was sold out. I may pick up bananaversary if its still around later this weekend, but I am on the fence.
