Apparently Referend Bier is leaving NJ for PA. It actually will be more convenient for me because my parents live close to Kutztown.

 

My friends in NJ speak very highly of them. I had one of their beers last fall and was impressed.

 

Maybe we were neighbors growing up

 

'Close' in a relative way haha. Like over 30 minutes. I grew up in the Lehigh Valley.

 

I think I was thinking of this one - Anchorage Wendigo. Local shop near me had it for $79, oof.

 

Referend is severely underrated. Really stoked on what they're going to be able to do with a way bigger space and a farm. They make some world-class funky stuff.

if you can snag, the Galaxy version was maybe the best IPA I’ve ever had sooo...get it

 

Glad they got there in one piece. The vault beer was quite firm when I shipped it lol.

Yeah I looked into getting some TH stuff. Shipping was $18 my order came out to $83.

 

Not bad, mine are usually over $100 so that’s a steal

 

Yeah it’s just hard to justify with other similar local options where I don’t pay shipping. Might splurge and split an order with my brother though.

Does the Tired Hands shipping get cheaper if you reach a certain dollar amount?

 

This beer lists like, 20 different hops that go into this, but it somehow tastes very chill and balanced. Impressive.
