I saw this! gonna try and make a trip down soon, I think I saw that they they have a sour releasing this weekend. really have enjoyed every beer I've had from them and it looks like they've found more of a home by brewing out of Keg + Lantern in Red Hook. it's been fun to see them grow over the past year.

Thanks for the well wishes! Maybe let’s try to catch up over a beer when I’m back? I realized we got together at Beer Street South just before the pandemic shut everything down.

Happy Hypnopompa! Pretty great imperial stout with marshmallows and vanilla beans.

 

Not huge on pumpkin but this is one of the best I've ever had.

There’s a sour pumpkin beer called La Parcela from Jolly Pumpkin that I’m curious to try. However, pumpkin beers are usually too heavy handed with the spices for my taste.

Today I tried 2 more of @spiffa0 ’s beers. First up, Florets, an IPA from other half. I didn’t really care for this one because of how green/weedy/grassy it was. Just not my preference. But it’s aptly named!



Second, I tried Kane Brewing’s Indicators. Wow this was one of the fruitiest IPAs I’ve ever had. Fruitier even than some beers with fruit additions. Lots of tropical and stone fruit flavor, and even a bit of grape. No bitterness whatsoever. I liked it, very unique!

 

In laws got me a gift card to Tired Hands for my bday. Loaded my cart up and the card won't work! Not shelling out an extra $50 because of an error. Hope I don't miss the Punge

Easy Peeling - "Brewed with an abundance of fluffy malted oats as well as coconut oil, and intentionally not boiled with any of the kettle addition hops in an effort to minimize any and all bitterness. Dry hopped through a process we like to experiment with which sees hops added every dang day throughout fermentation in order to fully saturate the liquid with a bright & pungent blend of Motueka, Simcoe, and Ella. Then conditioned atop a bounty of pineapple purée. Incredibly soft & delicate while packing an enormous punch of mind melding flavors. 7.0% abv. Notes of pineapple shaved ice, tangy fruit punch bubblegum, crispy coconut biscuits, a lil scoop of rainbow sherbet, and some cozy piña coladas by the fire pit =)
