@irthesteve that beer is killer. I’ve seen it on occasion in the Bay Area but if I had regular access to it, I would keep my fridge stocked at all times. I bought a bottle of Vestige, their smoked farmhouse, today so I’m looking forward to trying that. In other news, I received @spiffa0 ’s package today. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the haul before putting it away and my fridge has so much beer in it right now that it would be an undertaking to pull them back out. BUT I did manage to find my way to Bones Shirt, a black lager from Suarez Family Brewing. It’s very good. It doesn’t overdo the roasty-ness which makes it very drinkable. Goes down really smooth.
@waking season @djwildefire how big/popular is Oxbow? I don't think I've heard of them till now, but I see they have multiple locations and seemingly good distro?
I think they’re fairly well known among beer nerds but not the general public, at least over here on the west coast. It sounds like they must be doing pretty well, especially since they’re almost exclusively a farmhouse brewery. I’ve been really impressed by every beer I’ve had from them.
Pretty much what @djwildefire said. Well-known among beer nerds and they’re distributed throughout New England but I’ve only ever seen them in craft beer stores. Their spot in Portland, ME is really cool and I recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the area. Portland is a fantastic beer town.
Ok so this admittedly tastes nothing like beer in the traditional word, but as a liquid beverage it's phenomenal. This may be their best yet, it's a pie in a can, just insane flavors.
Glad you like it! It’s probably my favorite any occasion beer And you can Duckfat poutine at the Portland spot! That might be my second favorite place in Portland after Novare Res
One of my local breweries just won gold for their hazy ipa so I guess I need to stop putting off trying it. Spellbinder by Wren House Brewing.
I have the English barleywine left from that package that I’ll drink probably tonight. The BA stuff he sent is very good
Anyone have good Portland Oregon beer recommendations? I'm in town for the weekend and want to try some good brews!

Where are you working out now? german style beers are probably my biggest blind spot in craft beer, I need to change that
