oh it's fantastic, this is actually the 3rd bottle I have (do I have a problem!?!!??!!?). The pineapple flavor actually somehow has shot to the front more than the first two bottles I had (I got them all about a year ago) and the habenero works perfectly with it. I get the mindset that a 20% stout is going to basically kill all the flavor, but here it really doesn't, it works in tandem with the adjuncts really well.
I’ve had the original Black Tuesday a couple times and a couple of the variants, but not that one. It sounds ridiculous! I’m always a sucker for a bit of spicy heat in a stout edit: and also, if you have a problem so do I. Sitting here contemplating buying a $30 375mL bottle of a Cellarmaker/Anchorage collab double barrel-aged barleywine. I don’t think I’m gonna pull the trigger but the fact that it’s even in consideration tells you something
I meannnnnnnn, I would say do it, haha. $30 seems pretty reasonable for a double barrel aged barleywine, and it sounds damn good. If I saw that, I think I would buy it. If that helps at all haha
Unfortunately, wasn't really into the Stone Enjoy By 10.31.20. I've had 22 different pumpkin beers so far this season and I'd probably put it near the middle to the bottom of that list. I'm definitely in the minority as it's like, a 4.1 on untappd. I bought a sixer of it a few weeks ago and so far only had one, so maybe it'll grow on me?
Wow yeah if I went into an Enjoy By thinking it was a pumpkin beer i'd be so thrown off haha. Try it again with that in mind.
wow! this is incredible, @djwildefire. all of the stonefruit is coming through with the softest bite. love a good citra double. thank you!
I haven't seen the anniversary either but the BA version last year was one of the best BA's I've tried.
