I will! I assume my friend lost service (or is dipping me because I responded 20 times in a row like a maniac) but will get back to you. If there is no "x available" underneath, I'm not sure if that means sold out or that there is more than enough left. If whatever is up there is available, I'm gonna do the "I Will Definitely Take..." so that I can try Julius and King JJJulius. I don't wanna burden him with any other crazy order. "All You Need is Love" has a stout in it, but none of their "core" IPAs. In a perfect world, he gets a variety too and we can mix and match a few different ones. EDIT: If any of you are browsing their site and knowledgable and see a better variety than "I Will Definitely" let me know! I don't wanna blow it
If it’s listed on the site and doesn’t say sold out, I think it’s available. Looks like they update their inventory on there daily. I will say that I tried Single Shot once and it was pretty much a perfect coffee stout, so I imagine the Double Shot is really good too.
Yeah, I've never had a bad or mediocre beer from them. They all have ranged from really good to amazing
Okay he’s going tomorrow and I talked him into getting 2 of the mixes and splitting them with me. It seems like Drink the Trees and Quintessential have their core beers. Should one of them be the second one? If anyone wants to look through and offer alternatives, I am absolutely open!
That’s awesome! I’ve only had that Single Shot from them, but if that’s indicative of the quality of their beer, I think you will be happy with whatever you choose. Someone else with more knowledge can probably provide more insight into which exact mixed packs to choose. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, that stuff is really hard to get on the West Coast
I would include this: 4-Pack Bottle Sampler! — Tree House Brewing Company haven't had any of them yet, but they both sound incredible. also, if you're looking for a palate cleanser, all of their classic styles (pilsners, helles, witbier, dunkel, etc) that I've had have been extremely solid. love Trail and Wanderer.
I'm a huge dork, currently making a spreadsheet with each mix/the beers in it to see what will give us the best variety while also ensuring Julius and King Julius.
I'm also keeping a list of what I put together for people to send out and what I get back from you fine folks.
Okay, I think I've settled on "Definitely" and "Dream Team". Definitely gets us the variety and King J, Dream team gets us more Julius and Green/Haze, which a lot of the other varieties don't have.
Is Sap worth switching to the Mount Rushmore pack? It'd go from 5 Julius/4 Green/4 Haze to 4 Julius/3 Sap/3 Haze/3 Green
I haven’t actually had Sap but I’ve had Sssappp and it was really good. I’d say go for it if you’re looking to try as many of their beers as you can since both packs have Julius, Haze, and Green. That said I’d never say no to an extra can of each. You really can’t go wrong haha.
I'm going back and forth because I know I'll like every one of their beers, but I know I'll absolutely love Julius/Haze/Green, and Sap is the outlier (especially judging by my friends' untappd ratings). I think I might stick with the extra can of each
@OhTheWater its only 4 hours away my man. Just get some dope beers and take a road trip on winter break for more. You’re stressing me out.
I need to get me that Stone one. I’m addicted to buying beers. Like, my problem is more so buying beer rather than drinking beer. My beer fridge is loaded to the top, I have more beers in storage as well. There’s no reason for me to keep going to stores but between the four or five local places I get beer from, they all carry different breweries, so I feel like I need to keep constantly checking them out and it’s to the point where I’m buying beer at least 3x a week.
