Matt, I'll try to get another box out to you sometime soon with some more of our new things and some other locals I think you might really enjoy and want to post about on Instagram. sounds like you could use something to lift your spirits and I could always use the positive karma on my end haha
I actually just saw a beer meme page that was shitting on Yuengling...like of course it isn't that good! It's one of the cheapest beers to find around here, it was so baffling when I learned how sought after it was.
Before it was distributed in Ohio, my dad would always go to PA and buy like, six cases of it, during their annual vacation to Seven Springs, PA.
Outside of one super weird time where we got a keg of Shock Top for like $19 or some crazy shit, Yuengling was always the budget beer in college. Was cheaper than Natty most of the time, but we'd splurge on Natty because it was easier to binge drink lol
Our go-to kegs in college were PBR and Killians. I had a kegerator in my dorm sophomore year. I always tried my best to not drink Natty. If I were buying 30 packs, I was going with Busch or Keystone. I still don't mind a PBR or Killians from time to time. Often buy Killians - or Red Stripe - if I'm going to like a family/house party.
Has anyone tried Busch Apple yet? They’re the new hot trend here. I had a sip, not my bag but it does taste exactly like apple juice haha
Lol I love that Killians was just mentioned. I was listening to LBC the other day and laughed so loud when I got to the Killians part of Do You Miss Me
Lol you don't have to but I'd definitely appreciate it. I'll out together a selection and send some down to you.
went to Delaware and $2 Yuengs and wings every wednesday got me through senior year of college. I don't think I missed a single week.
At Pitt any bar would do a five dollar pitcher of yuengling any day of the week. You'd get five 12oz pours out of it. So my friends and I would just take turns buying pitchers and sharing.
I'd never ever heard of Yuengling until a couple years ago when my co worker from Philadelphia explained it to me
I’ll be sending mine out to my partner in the next few days, the one they sent me should be here soon
i dont mind a yuengling once in a while if its the best option atm. leaves something to be desired for sure but its crisp and goes down easy got to give them that. when i was a cheap beer person i definitely polished my fair shair of black and tan 12 packs.
speaking of philly beer tho i really like yards new hazy ipa "philthy". didnt know what to expect cuz yards is hit or miss for me but it gives most hazys out there a run for their money imo
