Yeah, and it's not the name Keystone that I think is wrong, I think it's the specific branding choice they made to display STONE like that. Going after a brewery because the word stone is part of a larger word doesn't make sense the same way, there are countless examples of why it makes no sense
Similar to what bell’s did about a small brewery in the carolina’s. Like anyone would confuse the two.
They filed a suit against Innovation Brewing because bells slogan is Innovative Brewing. UPDATED: Bell’s Brewery Files Trademark Lawsuit North Carolina Brewer edit: also larry bell fought against raising the maximum for self distro and also fought against how many bbls of beer a brew pub can make and whatnot.
I can kinda see the keystone lawsuit, but the other ones are ridiculous. But Xocoveza is so good...only beer I’ll buy from them.
Maplewood is maybe my favorite Chicago brewery. Even though my tastes have ventured away from hazies, their Juice series are killer.
My local Total Wine has apparently started a discount section of what I assume are beers that aren't selling, giving them $1-3 discount stickers, works for me! Got this for like $4 or something. Super interesting sour with hints of chocolate, pretty good.
Needed this after a shitty work week. Haven’t had this beer in probably 4 years, nostalgic as hell right now.
