I had an intense nightmare last night and I have not ruled out the spooky beer being the cause. That 6.66% ABV is probably cursed.

 

Yeah, I've just left it open for anyone to join. Won't start reaching out until next week.

 

hanging out with my brother tonight so went to the beer shop and spent a ton of money on interesting looking shit I’ve never had before, will be taking pics of them later

 

Picked up Harpoon Brewery’s Dunkin’ Pumpkin Ale yesterday. Usually more into IPAs, but I’m a sucker for 1) limited releases and 2) all things fall flavored.
Don’t judge!

 

Just mailed my buddy some of the Deftones White Pony IPA. Contemplating if I should save one to throw into the first package I send out for beer trade on here. But feel like it should go to a deftones fan lol.

It's funny because I was thinking man, I would like some 4Hands stouts or to try Center Ice. I used to live near STL and miss 4Hands but Center Ice opened up after I moved. I recently had a couple stouts from 2nd Shift and enjoyed both of them. (Just nothing from O'Fallon barf emoji)

 

Lol I don’t like ofallon either. I’ve only had IPAs from 2nd shift but they were the best IPAs I’ve had from a St. Louis place so far. The only 4 hands stout I’ve had was the peanut butter and jelly milk stout but everything else I’ve had from them has been fucking amazing. Literally just texted my brother to get incarnations for tonight

 

My boss and I swapped some beers - I traded some local NJ/NY for some stuff in the South. Coincidentally this one is on Tavour and it's great (95 on Beer Advocate):

Yeah alien church is really good. Everything I've had from tired hands has been great.

 

I had some Bud Lights last night and I have a vicious hangover this morning. I simply cannot drink light beer because it hits so differently than craft beer.

 

I drink a lot of seltzers and they hit me a lot differently. I usually don't feel drunk until the middle of the night and I get up to pee.

 

Basically has become the ubiquitous NEIPA around Chicago.

 

Man I had one unattenuated lager from there once and haven’t been back. Someone said it’s gotten better but I’m skeptical.

 

Untitled Art is one of the most overrated breweries out there, IMO. They throw a lot at the wall and only about 20% of it sticks for me.
