Glad to hear! Your rating on Untappd also bumped up our overall brewery rating from 3.97 to 3.98 lol We were around 3.83 overall when we hired our current head brewer back in the spring of 2018, about a month after I was promoted to Director of Sales. Our previous brewer and sales director both left around that time to work for other breweries. Since then our beers have become a lot better, more creative, and both our production capacity and distribution footprint have grown substantially. It's been super fun watching the success, and we're really hoping we can reach 4.0 overall by the end of the year
It's not beer, but since I keep raving about Untitled Art, it's fitting enough. We tried their mixed drink in a can and it's quite good! Tastes like a legit mojito you'd get at a bar.
Ok back to beer. Great beer, a 16% beer that tastes like 10 max. You Asked For It is a blend of two of our most desired stouts, Black Tuesday and So Happens It's Tuesday, conditioned with vanilla. This complex imperial stout is rich with notes of chocolate and is rounded out with a creamy decadent vanilla finish.
@DontTellMom the blueberry coconut cobbler sour you sent is probably my favorite in that style I’ve had. Most get too thick and pulpy and this is just thick and velvety.
Should’ve taken a picture, but this little motel/restaurant in Bridgeport, CA (in the Sierras) of all places had Deschutes The Ages. Super bomb beer, which took the sting out of having to cut short our backpacking trip due to a rapidly spreading wildfire.
the boulevard nitro cold brew milk stout is so fucking good. havent had a nitro stout in a hot minute, first sip had me fucking floating on cloud 9 with how velvety it was
Hope, The Hanged Man, and Death Newgrass Brewing Co Vanilla Imperial Stout aged 14 months in Woodford Reserve and Very Old Barton Bourbon Barrels 9.5% ABV
Ah, looked at their site but doesn't look like a series? Was hoping it was a coconut. I just can't get into vanilla stuff. But love the look of it .
Haha our brewer knows I despise coconut and for some reason that always makes him hesitant to do coconut stouts, even though I tell him to do it anyway because I can still sell the shit out of them even if I don't personally like it. Also I'm embarrassed that people look at our website. We're really bad about ignoring it and not keeping it updated because we don't really have a social media/website person on our staff. The brewer and I just kind of do it in our free time, and it's probably been over a year since we last updated anything
Thanks for the offer, I'm not much of a collector though. I admire the people that have bottles from years ago just on display, I just don't like clutter lol. I love coconut stouts. haha.
