Yeah Goses with salt and some spices are wonderful. When I lived in Nova Scotia a brewery up there used to brew a Gose with Prince Edward Island sea salt and coriander. Nuts.
Hell yeah that sounds great too. I would love to make a lemon-lime Gose but haven’t had a chance so the one you’re having speaks to me.
Sooo that Fonta Flora beer (Extending Branches) was wild. Brewed with peach leaves, juniper branches, birch wood, and olives. Never had anything like it before, very herbal and woody. Kind of like drinking a forest, which is what it seems like they were going for. I loved it, it was bold and flavorful, but not over the top.
903 getting a little big for their britches on Tavour. Last two beers they put up are $10+ per can. A 4-pk of the same beer on their site is $22
I just use the camera on my pixel 3 phone. I'll use an Instagram filter, usually Clarendon, to make th colors pop more. Then manually fool around with shadows and highlights.
Same. Speaking of, where do you all get glasses? I follow a few of the pop culture glass places but nothing has really sold me yet. I’m looking for a few with some solid designs
Mine are just brewery glassware. I would buy too much if I allowed myself to get other cool glassware. I’d love to have all sorts of wild shapes
I broke one of two goblets that I had last week so I’m in the market. I’ve been drinking my colorful beers out of a vintage Pizza Hut ET glass I found in a thrift shop down the shore. Also this constable Big Mac glass:
Okay I love both of those glasses. Looking forward to what you think. I find it to be more acidic than most NEIPA’s which I personally love but people I know say it’s a little burn in the throat.
Hahha yeah I was so hype when I found them. I honestly might scour thrift stores or ebay for more like them. I like it. I don’t know what the canning date was for it (got it from Tavour) but it does have a bit more of a maltier taste (I can see acidic) than other NEIPAs. Like most, though, the taste is growing on me as it warms up a bit
Speaking of glassware, my fiancee and I are obsessed with Pretentious Glassware out of Knoxville, TN. Their stuff is awesome (although pricey) and are some of our favorites to drink from
