They're going for quantity over quality at this point. They've currently had like 30+ different cans available to purchase
Have heard great things about Fair Isle, did you find it in a shop down in SoCal? Don’t know what their distro is like.
I actually got it though Tavour, was getting something else and added it in to make the shipping price worthwhile
Feel like I remember someone posting a Southern Tier Orange Creamsicle image but couldn't find it. Had one last night and enjoyed!
Chicago peeps: how is Hopewell Brewing? Some popped up in Michigan and I haven’t had anything by them before.
I'm not too crazy about them as I don't find anything special about their beers. Their Lil' Buddy is what put them on the map because it's in an 8oz can: Hopewell Brewing Co. | Lil Buddy
I see I see. They had styles that intrigued me (italian pils) and other styles I like (helles lager) but I’d never heard of them. Thanks for the info!
FWIW - my experience with them is limited to going to the brewery once and getting a flight I was unimpressed by and had a friend bring some Lil Buddy's to a party a while ago.
Ive had a couple beers by them that I liked, one was a saison, the other maybe a pale ale? I know some people that like them, but I’m a hyper local buyer usually and their 16oz 4 packs are usually past my price point.
This is good, quite enjoyable, but it's the first Bottle Logic I've had that isn't like WOW, it's just... Nice. Impressive that my least favorite thing from them I'd still give 4 stars.
haha, I've found most of their can stuff is just great. Not WOW. But pretty much anything in bombers is amaze. I had a BA Coffee Stout tonight and I was like, sure it's fine... but it's not Red Eye lol Happy to see you got back into BL stuff though!
@jciswhatis ok but...... This one is pretty damn good, the lactose really smooths it out. You're right, not quite bomber status, but certainly more affordable and still solid.
Well unfortunately it seems the deconstructed series just isn't for me, better together is true with this one. None of the deconstructed versions have had any strong flavor, just extremely subtle which is a bummer from such a flavor forward beer. Anyway, I don't really taste any chocolate in here, it's just an enjoyable stout
I think you are correct. The local place's here sell their stout can 4 packs for 38.99 which isn't bad at all to me compared to the quality of some other stuff that is on sold for $10 a can or bottle. I like Study Break and Fourth Wall both quite a bit. Did you grab any of their recent bottles? Some crazy one's have came out recently.
The most I've seen for a 4-pack was Missing Mountain's Pants Party for $27.99. I ended up buying an individual one for $7 and it was delicious.
Oh I've seen plenty of expensive 4-packs, The Bruery's big barrel aged stouts average at 40 or 50 per 4-pack
I tend not to get their bottles mostly due to pricing, but a lot of the recent ones do look pretty amazing
