Got a kegerator since bars aren’t a thing right now json visualizer online it was a long 4 months without draft beer.
My wife is amazing... part of my ten year wedding anniversary gift today. Tin (local) beers for 10 years.
Smuttynose Griddle Cakes. Pale ale with blueberries, maple syrup, and lactose. Pretty good, really sweet. Taste more maple syrup than anything.
I picked up a few Oxbow beers, which aren’t frequently distributed around here, and all have been very good (and different!). Surfcasting (grisette with lime and sea salt), their flagship farmhouse pale, and From Beyond, a cognac and Pinot noir barrel-aged saison collab with Holy Mountain. On top of all that, I popped a bottle of 3F Intens Rood, and wow! Super deep cherry flavor but balanced by a pleasant earthiness. Like their Kriek but on steroids.
Also if any of you have Maha in your area I tried them for the first time when I was bbqing last weekend with some friends. Surprisingly very good, and they’re organic.
My fiancé’s cousin and his gf mailed us a sampler 4 pack of some DC/East Coast beers and this was my ranking. Super fun, I’m excited to send some Michigan love back their way
