Ahhh very well known brewery nationally whose beers trade for a lot and constantly draw in hundreds of people for new releases unaware that people with ample free time would line up for their newest beer release.
To be honest I’ve walked past there essentially every day for the past month and I’ve never seen more than a handful of people lined up at once.
For sure. Couldn’t pass up the chance to be snarky. I just don’t think the excuse from the most popular brewery in Virginia (possibly? I don’t know) wasn’t prepared for people to line up for their beer is valid on their behalf
No it’s not I agree. Never underestimate the stupidity of man. I really just couldn’t believe someone brought their two young daughters to play on the sidewalk while they waited for beer. Like that’s insane.
Didn’t the Veil also have the whole issue with people saving space in line with lawn chairs? I remember when Other Half dealt with that nonsense (which led to bananagate), a lot of people said the Veil did it all the time.
I don't understand why some places, especially now, can't just do online sales for their very sought after ones
Troon switching to online sales has been great. As soon as I get the Instagram notification that they posted, I go right to the link, buy the beer, and then go pick it up at the brewery when it's ready. No more mad dashes through farmland to hopefully get at least one crowler before they sell out. I hope they just keep doing it this way forever.
Sure, Wednesday night sounds great for 32 oz of liquid 19.2% ABV candy. Meant to be shared! Black Tuesday Blueberry Pancakes in a crowler, why not, quarantine has no rules.
I really wanted to like this Brews Brothers show on Netflix, mostly for Zach Reino and Mike Mitchell. But this is.....not great.
Couldn’t resist picking up a bottle of Tilquin Gueuzerable (lambic brewed with maple syrup) a few months back, just because it sounded intriguing. It’s definitely a little strange, which I expected. A beautiful mahogany color and the maple is definitely there but subtle. Still a bit weird but better than I feared it might be.
I saw the trailer for it last night and I want to watch but it doesn’t look good. You’d think with movies like Drinking Buddies or shows like Easy (Both Joe Swanberg creations) there is great potential to make a show about a brewery.
Dave Franco and the brother have great chemistry. But probably not as much as their spouses (Zazie Beetz and Aya Cash). Overall what a great show. Deserved more than 3 seasons.
