Yeah I mean I could see maybe using actual ladyfingers doesn’t give as much of a vanilla flavor as they wanted present in it. That’d be my guess.

 

I would buy a thing of lady fingers and dunk it into the beer.

 

So I’ve been sick with the flu these past couple days, but I’m feeling better tonight, so i thought i would treat myself to an Austin Brothers Sumo Sumatra imperial stout. Turns out I’m too congested to even taste it

 

In Portland for the weekend and I’m so upset yet so happy that Novare Res isn’t close to where I live. I could spend entire days here

also, @waking season they have a Schilling side pull Czech Pilsner on draft here and it’s making me fall in love with pilsners. Hopefully they have it when you come up

 

Ah man enjoy! I really hope they have it next weekend, sounds incredible. I absolutely love Schilling too.

 

Anybody in the NY area trying to hit Other Half tomorrow? Like around 12-ish?

Is it a sour or like a stout?

 

Like a stout but slightly tart from the raspberries, really enjoying it. Reminds me of the first Tired Hands beer I had actually minus the peanut butter, forget the name but it was a stout conditioned on raspberries

 

Nice! Was hoping to stop there on the way home Sunday so might have to pick some up. Saw it on their IG and was very intrigued by it

 

Dang that is a bummer. Would like your opinion on that beer, I haven’t had it. I grabbed their orange smoothie ipa earlier tonight when at the store. Gonna check that out this week.

It’s really a shame Founders are pos cuz I’ve had two CBS the last three months(which were both gifted to me), and it might be one of the best tasting beers I’ve ever had.

 

Yeahhhh. I haven’t purchased founders in a long time but I do sample the stuff I’m interested if I’m at a bar/account.

I don’t really understand having the LLC name as it’s really just the same beer they brew for TH.

Decided to do a dry Lent and saw @bigmike talking about Lagunitas Hop Water and i think they need to make these in 24 packs because I could drink a case of them lol.

 

My dude! It’s killer, right? Legit would buy a 24 pack of that in a heartbeat.

 

The hops give it so much more body than drinking a sparkling water/pop in the same scenario as well, so you can just sip on it as your leisure the same way you would a regular beer with company.

 

Idk but it rules
