My uncle is a drunk who knows guys with connections to people in italy lol. They usually bring wine to BYOBs or tell us what they order
Natural wine has hit Michigan and starting to gain some traction. my work Christmas party was at my boss’s house and holy shit y’all should’ve seen the wine in the cellar from my rich boss. It was about 50 bottles after he moved the other 350 bottles to his lake house. I spent like 45 total minutes looking up these wines and nothing under $75 MSRP. Some truly delicious stuff.
sorry, just seeing this now. Bill's Best was a little better than The Ways, but still nothing mindblowing. that beer I had at The Ways was truly horrible though. I felt bad, but I could barely drink it.
Alright North Jersey people Next month I'm going to go to north jersey and hit up some breweries (I have a goal to get to every NJ brewery listed on this website): https://www.brewtodolist.com/newjersey Anyway, was going to do Brix City, Bolero Snort, Hackensack, Alementary, and Magnify. Thoughts?
If your're prioritizing quality over geography, definitely go to Twin Elephant. And just a heads up, that map has the wrong location for Bolero - their new taproom is in Carlstadt. Can't speak to Hackensack but it's on my list too. I find the below link useful because it breaks down the breweries by county: New Jersey Breweries & Brewpubs | New Jersey Craft Beer
