Sapwood Cellars is definitely worth considering for top brewery in the Baltimore area

 

Is their stuff as good as I imagine? The mad fermentationist blog is a huge source of information for me

 

I really want to try it.

 

Haven’t heard of it until now. Will definitely look for it next time I’m there!

 

Yeah, it's great!! Their IPAs and Pale Ales are excellent. I need to try some of their other styles

 

Luckily I stay right in Columbia, MD for work. Unfortunately Manor Hill is only open on weekends but it's on my list to try.

I also want to say I would pay for some sapwood cellars stuff. Probably the only out of market stuff I’d care to really track down.

 

I’ll be down in Baltimore next month for some wedding stuff and can see what they have.

Yeah I can’t wait for Narwhal to be year round, and putting it in a can is a great idea. Not sure how well it will do in summer, but still.

 

Not huge on the regular Narwhal but excited to try the BA version.

 

Gripped Extra Vanilla Double Milkshake Tired Hands. Very hype, I’ve only had the single and it’s definitely my favorite of the bunch

 

I think the double vanilla is the best one. triple vanilla is way too sweet and the single is just too subtle for me.

 

The Apple Cider Donut might be my favorite shake IPA from TH but yeah the double vanilla is also up there.

 

Taking off in my birthday in March to hit up tired hands. Have never been because it's inconvenient coming from south Jersey. So im excited and gonna load up.

 

Definitely grab some food while you’re there. I like the atmosphere of the cafe more than the Fermentaria but the latter generally has more substantial food. You really can’t go wrong.

 

Agreed Cafe can’t be beat. The past few times I’ve gone I felt like they had the better selection as well. I mean if youre driving there just do both. It’s walkable!
