they switch up the label every few months or so, none of the previous ones have looked like this though.
My buddy who brews in the taproom said he made a pilot batch a couple months back but that he cannot confirm or deny if it was getting distro/scaled up because they don’t ever tell him that.
I had a sample of it a few months ago and it was great. Galaxy hopped with centennial so it’s not exactly baby sibling to Two Hearted but it was fuckin tasty.
I have had 2-3 shipments, the biggest thing that keeps me away is just the price of shipment honestly. The discount codes help every so often, but I just can't justify the price of filling a box and shipping it for the most part
I’m bummed I can’t make it either. If they’re still around when I’m back in the city Monday I’ll hit you up
I'm looking at a local beer fest that I might be going to, the brewery lineup is pretty solid but there are a fair amount I don't know. I'm going to paste it here and bold the ones I know personally, italicizing the ones I have heard of but haven't had, if anyone knows about any I am missing, lemme know!! Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. Babgy Beer Co. Bearded Iris Brewing Company Bissell Brothers Brewing Company Bottle Logic Brewing Brouwerij West Casa Agria Specialty Ales Cellador Ales Cerebral Brewing Creature Comforts Brewing Co. Double Nickel Brewing Company Ever Grain Brewing Company Great Notion Brewing Green Cheek Beer Co. Highland Park Brewery Homage Brewing Horus Aged Ales Humble Sea Brewing Co. J. Wakefield Brewing Magnify Brewing Company Modern Times Beer Mumford Brewing Parish Brewing Co. Resident Culture Brewing Company Russian River Brewing Company Shacksbury Cider The Bruery The Rare Barrel Three Weavers Brewing Company Wren House Brewing Company
Arizona Wilderness is hit or miss for me. Wren House makes some really great stuff but again, just depends what they are bringing. Their Big Spill Pils is probably their most popular around here. Parish has some really nice stuff.
This is a really solid lineup but these are the highlights of the ones you've never had: J. Wakefield #1 overall, a top five stout-maker in the country no question Bissell (phenomenal IPAs) Homage Parish Also, Magnify is pretty good. They're from Jersey. Not on the same level as those other four by any means but they're a solid little brewery.
honestly getting a ticket to this thing should be a no-brainer if only because of how many insanely good places are in the lineup, between ones you've had and ones you haven't lol
Some of the best NEIPAs I've ever had. They also came down to Brooklyn and did a two-beer collab with Other Half last year which were both incredible.
Yeah I'm going, the only reason it's a maybe is that my wife and I have to cancel two other plans that day (whoops). But the festival is like, 20 min from my place, down by the ocean, it's a no-brainer.
