Spain is the home country of the majority ownership of founders. westy 12 is a top 3 beer experience for me.
hitting up Suarez Family and Equilibrium on my way to Tree House in a week and a half. super excited to see Suarez Family for the first time. I've loved everything I've had from them.
this particular blend sounds fantastic. They used Bones Shirt as the base. Idk when I’ll make it up there next but hopefully in the next few months.
Not a huge fan of BBA stouts, but Lagunitas Willetized is great bang for your buck Also, I’m going to a bottle share on Thursday and it sounds like I’ll finally get to try beers from Casey and Suarez!
Unfortunately word is that Snowbirds version 4 (Other Half x J Wakefield stout collab) is pretty disappointing. The carrot cake sounded good but it’s getting panned.
I don't know that I believe they aren't good lol, Snowbirds 4 is at 4.56 on Untappd currently and the carrot cake is at 4.13
I was speaking to people that were there yesterday and that’s what they said. I countered with the Untappd results and their response wasn’t too kind to those people. I have a bottle of each coming my way so I’ll let you know what I think.
lmao are they also people who say Rotten Tomatoes/Metacritic aren't worthwhile to look at despite them being based on aggregates of hundreds of reviews
I wish beergraphs.com was still a thing. It was run by some baseball nerds and they would pull Untappd API and each beer was then out on a scale where 100 is average for the untappd style category. Allows to really see how good sours of BA stouts really are since they tend to be rated more highly on average than other styles.
The ability to not edit posts has always been problematic. I LOLed hard though when someone posted “EASY 4.5” only to have ranked it 4.25
Yeah editing check ins has been around since 2016. Maybe earlier. Probably around the time they left you do quarter ratings instead of just half or whole
