Lord Whang is just as good as last year so that’s an easy favorite. Vanilla Rye Whang was also delicious and not as sweet as I expected. Pallbearer and the Vanilla AB Toast-E Coilz kicked before I got there, sadly.
All That Is and All That Ever Will Be from Tree House, drinks like a 10%+ abv beer even though it’s 6.5%. Also picked up a few cans of Julius, King Julius, Juice Machine, Haze, Green, Very Green, Autumn, East Hill, and Tango.

whoa, did not know there was another one coming. I was there yesterday (surprise surprise) and the tap list is getting barren.
I imagine they’re going full steam ahead until their NYE party. I need to go anyway to get my Super Spruce cans for the holidays, so I will likely grab a couple bottles of this too. did you grab more merch yesterday too? Haha
Can someone give me the rundown on Tree House? I'll be driving right by it on my way more north to visit family on Dec 20. If I were to get there around opening, would I be waiting in line forever for cans?
highly recommend joining the Tree House Brew Co: Line Updates facebook group. I haven't been in a bit, but I'm planning on going on the 22nd. the 20th might be a little more chaotic than usual because it's right around Christmas, but who knows. Fridays are usually the busiest days because that's when they have the most offerings. if they don't release anything huge, you could be waiting less than an hour (maybe even 15-30 minutes), but it's hard to know without knowing what they'll release. on an unrelated to tree house note, I had my first Black Tuesday (this one was from 2016) on Saturday night and it was incredible.
lol I did not. I behaved myself this time. brought some Super Spruce home for Thanksgiving and my mom loved it.
Their quality had taken a nosedive for me from when they first came to Michigan, and the price point they came in at was really stupid. Hopefully they can improve
I just think it's the funniest thing that 4 years ago they were purchased for $1 billion by Constellation who owns Corona, Modelo, Svedka and other crazy brands.... and now they were purchased by "Kings & Convicts, a two-year-old microbrewery that employs nine people and annually produces about 600 barrels of beer" Just pure insanity. End of the article is amazing. In July, while meeting with Constellation executives, he sang Ballast Point’s praises. “Is it for sale?” he asked, half-joking. The response: “Would you like to buy it?”
Ballast Point is one of the Trumpy breweries, right? I vaguely remember writing them off years ago but maybe I’m wrong. And Kane is so good.
"Kings & Convicts, a two-year-old microbrewery that employs nine people and annually produces about 600 barrels of beer" Excuse me, what?
Ballast Points owners after they sold donated to Paul Ryan’s campaign when trump’s first push to repeal the affordable care act was happening and there was a big boycott of BP products in the Chicago area.
