New Belgium Brewing Company to sell to Kirin's global beverage empire

 

Bummer for sure. Good that about 300 of their 700 employees will get at least $100k towards their retirement.

Whoah, that's crazy. Their whole identity was being employee owned. Never expected to see them sell

 

Cape May just announced they're doing a Coquito cream ale for Black Friday too.

I had the single Coquito JREAM last year and it was incredible. but I did have to share it with someone else. like most JREAMS, it was just a little too much to have a full pounder of.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints lately about the candy infused stouts on the OH Facebook group.

 

why? I haven’t had any of them so idk

 

Evidently way too sweet. But tbh, I don’t know what else you would expect with what they’re putting in there. It is candy after all.

 

yeah that’s kind of a ridiculous complaint about beer with literal butterfinger and snickers in it lol.

Yo, @BlueEyesBrewing i split that bottle of Anna with my girlfriend and it was incredible. At first I was underwhelmed because I had a lot of hype built up but quickly I realized it is almost exactly what I want in a saison. Just wish the carb was a bit more prickly, but personal preference. Thank you!

 

Enjoyed Maine beer company's lunch today. First time I had something by them.

 

Nice! That’s exactly how I felt the first time I had anything by them (one of their hoppy beers, forget which one). I was expecting to be blown away and only later on did I realize that it was perfectly balanced and made

 

Went to drakes The Barn. Had the Russian Imperial Stout. So good

ALSO my work picked up Revision Brewing Co. We can start selling them after the holiday, and I’m so stoked

 

From this weekend. I will say that this years batch is maltier than previous versions.
