Celebration lunch at work today, BBQ and beer. It's all Sam Adams and that root beer shit, but I'll never say no to free beer!!!!

 

I'll take a Not Your Father's as a change-up beer, but lord those are sweet.

 

Yeah, honestly I don't like regular root beer so the whole thing is horrible to my brain haha

 

As far as Sam Adam's goes, they produce some of my least favorite flavors ever. Their Harvest Pumpkin Ale is the most godawful beer I've ever had--only beer I cannot finish.

 

The cherry wheat they make is also horrible. One of the worst beers I have tried.

 

I'm now drinking whiskey... Tonight is going well. FYI I won't remember anything that I post here in the morning

 

Stone Brewery Arrogant Bastard Ale is pretty good.

Anchor Brewing Co. Liberty Ale is very good as well. Both out of Ca.

 

What kind? I'm a whisky guy, but summer in California forces me to take up beer for a few months.

 

Yeah, I've only had one but I can't imagine drinking more than one at a sitting.

 

Has anyone had a chance to have the Every Time I Die and Barrier Brewing Hop Damn! IPA? It's very limited release and might only be on Long Island and (maybe?) Buffalo.

 

I'm trying to get out and get some whiskey for the evening, but if I can't find a ride, to the beer store I go.

 

Id love to try that. How was the pineapple sculpin behind it? always wanted to try it

appreciate the offer but i'm good w/ the two 4 packs i got. sure a lot of people here will be interested though

 

most of what barrier makes is quite good, loved their recent collab's with other half

 

Brewdog is good, love punk. There's a craft pub just outside my job that brew their own beers and sell brewdog. Love that place.

 

Sadly not. Nothing has made it this side of the pond.

 

Cureently drinking pseudoSue. Very drunk after being at a works night out, so finishing it off with a great beer!

the real question is do I move on to 4, or will that be too far.... only time will tell.
