The fact that oskar blues struggles so bad in Michigan sucks because Ten Fidy is the best widely distributed imperial stout in the county. And BBA Ten Fidy is equally as incredible.
I’m here at this now. gutted I missed out on the Mindful Ales IPA. sipping on the Double Galaxy now and oh my...
My buddy moved to CO to be a brewer for them and he left within two months. Said it was the worst job he’s ever had. His direct superior turned the rakes on while someone was inside the mash tun and the manager just shrugged when someone was flipping out about it.
Triple Nelson Daydream, Triple Cream, and DDH Mylar Bags for sure. Sucks they’re only bringing IPAs (other than Honor System) because their stouts are incredible. But those are all really, really good.
Happy International Stout Day, btw. My friend just sent me a box from Treehouse and Trillium. In that box was a milk stout they released on Halloween called Homemade - brewed with chocolate fudge, walnuts and maple syrup. Will probably enjoy that tonight.
I'm not letting myself buy more beer I'm not letting myself buy more beer I'm not letting myself buy more beer.
Didn’t even realize it was stout day so instead I cracked a wild ale from Off Color Brewing called Wildings. It’s really good. Might crack a stout later tonight, though!
