I feel ya. I have TWY tonight, TBS on Thursday but the night before I have an event in midland so I won’t get home until like midnight so I’m already tired on Friday and that’s still a week away lol. You are too kind No worries! I’m just giving y’all a hard time
had it last Friday! so good. only made it to Other Half, Evil Twin, and Grimm because we spent too much time at OH. could absolutely be worse.
Found cans of kane head high at my local liquor store in South Jersey. First time I've seen it distributed down here.
I’ve been really meaning to go check out some breweries. Might plan a trip to the Bay Area when Ballast Point opens up their new spot in SF.
Focal and Heady are both really great, about equal in my opinion tbh, but for how highly regarded they are, they aren't even the best beers you can get in Vermont, let alone anywhere else. Again, not saying they're bad, they're great beers that I absolutely love, but if I were going back to Vermont this weekend and I could only choose three breweries to go to, I'd pick Hill Farmstead, Foam, and Burlington Beer Company.
For as storied as Heady was for so long, I think Focal caught up. The last few batches of Focal I had were better than Heady. As far as the other breweries mentioned, Heady was kind of the first of its kind. Everyone else eventually caught up (or in some cases, exceeded). Foam has really taken off in the past couple years. As far as Hill Farmstead, as much as people love Society Solitude, they will forever be known for the Anna, Mary, Arthur, Flora and the like farmstead style beers above all else.
No I know, I'm not trying to compare the individual beers, I'm just saying that if I went to Vermont and could only visit/bring back beer from three places, Alchemist wouldn't be one of them.
