@Anthony_ Hey dude. I'm going to be doing serving shit before I really get my feet planted and move behind the bar, but I'm going to be working at Maloney's in Matawan now, so absolutely let me know if you ever plan on coming through.
Stopped by Deciduous for the first time today. This is Evolving Eternally, their milkshake IPA with raspberry, mango, and vanilla. Also got their German-style pilsner, In Focus, which was outstanding. I’m definitely biased but the NH seacoast has one of the more underrated beer scenes in New England.
brought back a couple 4 packs from my weekend in Vermont. excited to give them a try - It's Complicated Being a Wizard and Soft Ambient Music from BBCO and a pack of Focal Banger (I've already had it but this needed to be done, last pack in store).
BBCo is such an underrated spot. Their beers are fantastic and they have amazing food. Looking forward to going back there whenever I go back up to VT.
unfortunately didn't make it to BBCO because we were in the Killington area for their golf course so I picked these up at the market. had their NEPA Elaborate Metaphor out on the course and it was delicious too. can't wait. also, I'm like 90% sure I'll be getting tickets to the beer garden in a couple weeks. I just saw that HVB and Equilibrium were confirmed.
If you go, check the General Store as well because they may still have bottles of this. The milkstaves are sooooo good, I had a pineapple-guava one back in December that was incredible
I’m unfortunately up in NH but I visit the area a few times a year. I had the pineapple guava one when I was down for NYE and loved it.
Gonna be in Detroit next month for a wedding. Any good breweries around the city? Can't stray too afar because I will only be there for 36 hours.
Now I had another friend go up to VT this week. He's bringing me back three bottles from Hill Farmstead haha
I didn't go to many downtown Detroit breweries when I lived in MI (usually went there for events and got the hell out), but I'm a big fan of Eastern Market Brewing
