Last time I went in for a bottle and walked out with two four packs, a vanilla milkshake t shirt, and a hat with their T logo. Smart? No. Worth it? Absolutely.
Also, went to Indiana last week and toured Upland's Wood Shop which I would definitely recommend (although you'd be better off just sitting at their bar because most of what you taste on the tour is unfinished, which is extremely cool but also extremely not great bc unfinished). I also tried 3Floyds Gumballhead at a restaurant at @OhTheWater recommendation in here and it was good.
I love them. I definitely take them for granted since they’re 15 minutes from where I live but I also have this NH pride about them haha. Their Russian imperial stout is one of the better beers I’ve had in that style.
It’s a sick release day. I am already cellaring a previous batch of Lily. Think I’ll wait (and hope) for Splish to make it to the Shop @ Threes. Meanwhile, I need to begin drinking more of the Other Half, Suarez and Treehouse currently in my fridge. Good problem to have.
Barrel + Beam is the best brewery in Michigan imo. Have three of their newer releases in my fridge and I can’t wait to get into them.
yeah, I'm pretty excited. I've been going there almost way too frequently now that I have a growler. it's too easy to stop in after work to have a few and get a refill, my wallet hates it.
It’s so worth the trip next time you’re anywhere even remotely within driving distance. Like literally if you’re ever anywhere in NY or CT. It’s a really special place. I live around 2.5 hours from there so it’s not something I can do often but it’s worth it every time.
I absolutely would for sure. My girlfriend and I are talking a Niagara Falls trip at some point and also a New England trip at some point. So I know I would hit up Suarez almost regardless of how far it would be.
Can't recommend enough. Beautiful part of the Hudson Valley. I find it funny that many of the people who go crazy for Hudson Valley Brewing don't realize its about an hour north of there.
