Haven’t tried naturdays yet but want to. Wish I would’ve jumped on Labatt citra, too when it was fresh.
Need to try those. I've always had a thing for Labatt and have loved them forever but it's been too long now
Glad AB has a decent beer for the summer. Not a fan of BLight Orange or the Copper lager. We’re coming out with some new Elysian this summer I’m excited to try tho.
These first 4-5 descriptions are completely WTF. Anyone have experience with Omnipollo or Decadant? I know they are both known for being ridiculous
tbh i really like decadent and omnipollo, in my experience they do usually capture the all over the wild flavors they claim to but sometimes they can be overwhelmingly sweet if that's not what you want i had this one the other day with some of my friends and we all like, audibly gasped at the first sip because of how much it tasted exactly like blueberry pancakes Bianca Blueberry Maple Pancake Lassi Gose | Omnipollo
We just started using it last summer at our brewery and I like it a lot. I think it’s better complimentary and not on its own, but damn it’s good.
Hey I had a mimosa brut inspired ipa that was gimmicky as fuck and if it were carbonated higher I would’ve given it a 5. I’m not a wet blanket all the time!
Beer became almost still after 10 minutes in the glass but everything else was spot on for a beer that calls itself a mimosa ipa. (Though I still would argue that it is not, in fact, an ipa.)
Going brewery hopping in Evanston, IL tomorrow: Smylie Brothers, Temperance, and Sketchbook... then recording a podcast. It's sure to be a mess.
Great article about Half Acre's Daisy Cutter. I can say that I moved to Chicago after college in 2008 when craft beer really started to boom here and DC is a huge part of that. A decade of Daisy: How Half Acre's iconic Daisy Cutter pale ale changed Chicago beer culture
Finally got to Hill Farmstead today. Had a couple of their beers brought back to Jersey from VT before, but first time up here. Man, that place totally earns its reputation. Tried a few different beers at the taproom and bought three bottles to take home. Loved it.
Yeah I’ve had beer from there before (Experimental Jet Set) but this was my first time there. Bought two 4-packs of releases they put out today, Grounds for Divorce and Bonus Track: 8.
