Going up to Vermont next weekend. Plan is to hit The Alchemist, von Trapp, Four Quarters, Foam, Switchback, Zero Gravity, Burlington Beer Co., House of Fermentology, and Hill Farmstead while I'm up there. Looking forward to it.
Haven't tried it yet but will def let you know. Had some of the FW Mind Haze last night which was great. One of the better hazy IPAs I've had.
Osprey’s Next Catch (Season Seven) fucking rules. Also had Heady and Focal back to back tonight. I think I like Focal more
You should check out this wine shop Tinys Bottle Shop — the lunar inn Highlighted the wine I'd buy if I went in the attachment
just a heads up that I'm pretty sure (although not 100% positive) that House of Fermentology is not a place you can visit. their address listed on their website is their private blendery. they might have their beers on tap at Foam, but I don't think they have their own tasting room.
My friend brought me back cans of Experimental Jet Set from Foam back in February and they were awesome. Really excited to get there myself.
has anyone had Dogfish Head's Slightly Mighty yet? is it good for what it is? in other news, Bella Vista in Philly just posted that they will be getting 3 Floyds later this week, including Zombie Dust.
I've had the Slightly Mighty. The best comparison I can think of is Founder's All Day IPA. It won't be a go-to by any means but as a low cal/carb beer, it definitely holds its own.
This is a very interesting and good read To Attract Health-Conscious Consumers, Brewers Focus on Functional Ingredients | Brewbound.com
Good read. Dogfish has been experimenting with different ingredients for as long as I can remember. Their health conscious beers are damn good too. SeaQuench is one of my absolute go to summer beers. Recently tried the SuperEIGHT too and thought it was great.
They (and their counterparts, Une Année) are killing it. UA cans of Framboise and Kriek just sitting on shelves here in Orlando, and it's insane with how great the beer is. Hubbard's bottles move pretty well here. Never mad to run across them, especially considering the price points!
I grabbed a 4-pack of the Triple IPA last night. Boozy but definitely good. Can’t have more than one of them if I’m gonna keep drinking. Speaking of keeping drinking, I tried Naturdays the other day and they rule. Gonna grab a bunch for the Phillies game tonight
