My biggest struggle brewing today was not drinking all the probiotic that I got to inoculate the wort. Stuff is real good.
Oh man. I've had the Julius once...so good. But I live in NYC so I'm spoiled for choice of good hazy IPAs
Julius is delicious. I wish Tree House was a little closer but it’s probably better that it’s not, I’d be there all the time.
I don't remember the last time I reached willingly for an NEIPA. I think they taste quite good, but the best of the best all bleed together flavor-wise. Techniques are very similar across the board and the range of hops used just aren't broad enough to give different flavor profiles.
I can agree with that. I think Tree House and Trillium taste pretty different but on the whole NEIPAs can taste similar.
need some Denver brewery recs.... lay it on me!!!! Leaning away from IPAs and towards dark, sour, barrel aged, experimental, etcetcetc
I wish good pilsners were more readily available. Victory’s Prima was one of my go-to beers in college and still one of my favorites when I can find it.
I can't tolerate them like I used to for stomach related issues, but I agree. I used to go down to Other Half and wait on line sometimes. Stuff is fantastic but every variation of different hops kinda blend together after a while.
Epic Brewing, Our Mutual Friend Brewing, Wynkoop Brewing, Dry Dock (in Aurora) Take the Coors brewery tour in Golden if you never have, it's pretty cool and you get 3 free 8 oz. tasters at the end. Not just of Coors but of beers they distribute as well.
prost, denver beer co, station 26, our mutual friend, trve, ratio beerworks, epic, great divide, jagged mountain, wynkoop, twisted pine (boulder), renegade, vine street, comrade,
@ChaseTx and I spent basically an entire day just going to different breweries when he was here visiting haha
Ratio is my favorite brewery in Denver for sure, I just didn't know I should recommend them because they have mostly IPA's but now that I think about it I guess they do a lot of weird experimental shit too lol Comrade is really cool too I used to live in the apartments right next to it
Ratio has become even more of my favorite now since shake shack opened up right across the street from them
yo! I just thought of this. There's a small chance of me being in Denver for Great American Beer Fest this year for work!
