My girlfriend took me out to Sante Adairius' new location to celebrate completing my internship in Monterey. We tried 3 beers, all good, but the standout was 8th and Broadway, an oak-aged saison w/ raspberries. Sooo good.

was lucky someone cracked one and shared it with me last night. Surreal experience. Thought it’d be super gimmicky but it was so good.

I have had only one tired hands and it was When You Die Your Energy yadda yadda yadda. It wasn't that good.

when i say it wasn't that good, I mean it didn't live up to the hype, but that was likely due to the spelt in that particular beer.

 

Yeah, I don’t think I had the one you mentioned but they use spelt a lot. I usually enjoy them, but I think it works better in their saisons than their IPAs.
