Picked up a four pack of Deth’s Tar today, and a Clown Shoes Crasher in the Rye. I’ve stocked up on so much beer this last month haha

 

Lots of dark beers, this imperial oatmeal stout was one of the wilder beers I’ve ever had (not necessarily my fav tho)

 

I just looked at their tap list and you weren’t kidding, lots of really good sounding stouts on tap

 

I had four dark beers, the aforementioned imperial oatmeal, a cappuccino stout on nitro, a chocolate milk stout, and a nitro porter. Good range

 

Cappuccino nitro stout sounds unreal

 

Came home to a pack of Backwoods Bastard. Hell yeah.

 

Having a can of Garrison City’s Hygge Lyfe, a Belgian style stout with chocolate, cinnamon, cardamom, and currants. It’s certainly interesting, gets better as it warms. These guys have some really inventive beers.

 

You better get a fresh Jai Alai you fuck

 

I spent a week on Anna Maria Island two summers ago and crushed fresh Jai Alai. Not sure if there’s a beach beer better than Jai Alai

 

Hope you spent the ten minutes to get to Angry Chair, too. Hell of a spot. Also, Hidden Springs Ale Works and Garagiste (mead) are killing it and are also very close.

 

My buddy was at cigar city and noted how expensive bottles were.

 

Had 4 Elf Winter Warmer (Lot of cinnamon but I’m a fan so I liked it more than not) and the Founders malt liquor (a hell of a sneaky 14%) last night. Mainly though I’m trying to hit 500 distinct beers on Untappd by years end lol

 

I had the chance to try a bunch of different beers but didn’t buy a single one. Top level mooch right there.

 

How is the Founders malt liquor? I’ve seen it around and it sounds super unpleasant but I’ve heard a lot of good things.

 

So everywhere I went they were out of the Celebration IPA. So I just decided to go basic and got the Founders All Day IPA. Such a solid beer.

 

It was good for one as sort of a novelty and that was it I'd say lol.

 

It is garbage, imo. It taste solely like alcohol because it’s 14% and I just would avoid it at all costs. I hope that doesn’t become a new novelty style in the future; a few Michigan breweries made that style which drives me crazy.

 

I drain poured my founders malt liquor. It was awful.

 

It’s barrel aged too, isn’t it?

 

My friend’s boss was in Vermont last weekend. He brought us back Heady Topper. Oh my god it was incredible.
