Church Hill is a great area, walking distance to some of the best restaurants (Dutch & Co, The Roosevelt, Metzger) in the area and the pop up wine bar I mentioned but not walking distance to any of the better beer spots. It would be a quick uber to Triple Crossing's Fulton location (which just got named a top ten brewery in America by Paste Magazine). For walking distance to The Veil you'll want to look in the museum district or Scott's Addition.
I think Church Hill will be better then. We can uber or drive to The Veil. and I just saw that Paste article! super cool especially cause you just mentioned them earlier. can't wait to try some of those restaurants. thank you! booking the trip now!
Other dank beer places I hit up in Seattle besides Cloudburst. -Peddler: Bicycle themed place, had a very good imperial red and black IPA. -Reuben's Brews: Had a holiday gose, which I think I liked more at the time than I do now thinking about it. Had a ton of stuff on tap though. -Brouwers's Cafe: Belgian-themed gastropub. Had a porter from 7 Seas that I dug.
No problem. Let me know if you need any more information on things to do or places to get breakfast, lunch or coffee.
Someone needs to find MmmHops and mail it to me. (I can't order alcohol because I live in fucking Utah...)
In SF and the people in front of us at the bar just left half a bomber of Pliny on the table and told my friends and I to have it at. Holy smokes
Took a day trip yesterday to Brewery Bhavana. Place was gorgeous, beers were good and food was tasty. Has received some cool accolades The 10 Coolest Places to Eat in 2018 America's Best New Restaurants 2017 | Bon Appetit

my local liquor store posted on IG that the got CBS yesterday, so I stopped by after work... literally walked in the door as someone purchased the last bottle, haha
If anyone really wants a bottle of CBS, I’ll have four in total and prob going to only want to keep 2-3.
The place next to my office actually got theirs in today so I'm gonna go grab one there, very of of ya though @bigmike !
If I can't get it tomorrow it'd be greatly appreciated. PM me for a price and logistics if you're willing!
hey, hey, hey ya'll were wrong!!!!!!! CBS was born when we stumbled upon some bourbon barrels that had previously housed maple syrup. We opted to put the same base beer as KBS, an imperialized version of Breakfast Stout, in the maple barrels and, after one taste, we knew we had something special. Rich maple syrup, roasted coffee and velvety chocolate meld together in what can only be described as a transcendental drinking experience.
Wow. News to me. I'd swear I remember them specifically saying they were different beers. Interesting.
I won't support Sam anymore for non-beer reasons, but I always enjoyed most of what they made. I think they manage to put out a pretty decent overall product given their size.
