Emanuel’s album Soundtrack to a Headrush has aged particularly well from that era.

 

I mean...lyrically, I'm not sure it has. Don't they have a song literally called "You Cannot Rape the Willing?" Catchy as hell though.

 

Listened to it on a road trip and thought it sounded good. Fair enough. Most of the lyrics from this era are a little whatever for me, so I guess it’s all perspective.

 

Holy shit I forgot how much their second album rules.

 

Their split with Ettison Clio was also excellent.

Well, this song rules.

 

The EP came out yesterday. Only had 2 quick listens but I really liked what I heard. Anyone else listened?

 

This is the only good thing to happen so far in 2020. "Monument" is excellent.

I think this is their best release. I'm glad they've embraced the heaviness again.

 

Their sound has matured really nicely. Glad they got back together and put something out that reaches this high standard.
