See my edit though. We're tied on the Beatles side, you're winning on Wings/Solo side. That's a respectable list for sure. I'd need some time to make my top 10, but I may try to do that soon.
I actually never realized until my spin of The Beatles today and looking shit up on wiki that McCartney played the drums on "Dear Prudence". He does a HELL of a Ringo impression.
Just saw Paul for the first time on Saturday and he was incredible. It's amazing how good of shape he is still in both physically and vocally.
Section 319. Higher up but not really that bad of a view other than when he was at the piano to the right of the drumset.
My top 10: While My Guitar Gently Weeps In My Life A Day In The Life Let It Be Something We Can Work It Out For No One Here Comes the Sun Penny Lane Yesterday
I didn't think much of that song until I heard it live, and now I love it. It gets stuck in my head all the time. I think about this more often than I'd like to admit. Never miss a chance to see him while we've got him! (Although it pisses me off people always say things to me like "yea you've got to see Paul McCartney he's going to die any day now." Like the dude is 75. He's old, but he could easily live another 20+ years, especially because he seems in good shape, and let's be real, he can afford the best medical care in the world.
It was always a middle of the road song for me until I saw it live! Paul McCartney could very well outlive me, honestly. I couldn't play with that much energy at 30 let alone 75
I saw Ringo live and it was fun as hell, but I need to get me some Paul because I know it'd be transcendental
And on Back in the USSR. But those other two sorta SOUND like him. "Prudence" is a dead ringer for Ringo's style
Here's a top 10 from someone that hardly ever listens to the band: A Day in the Life I Want You Abbey Road Medley (let's just say it counts) While My Guitar Gently Weeps Tomorrow Never Knows Hey Jude I've Just Seen a Face This Boy In My Life Something
