Got to finally see Paul again last night. Was a little worried it wouldn't feel quite as special as when I saw him a decade ago at Lolla, but the magic was still there.
updated Real Love is kind of astounding. I’m skeptical of the technology, but just amazing to hear it fully realized like this.
I really want to go tonight and I know my dad wants to go (he asked me to keep checking for tickets) but the asking price to get in on resale is just too much, unless you get obstructed view or standing room only which I know my dad would not want.
Yea even face value was a steep asking price, but I was willing to pay it since you know, no guarantees he makes it back, considering it's been 8 years since his last show here. The resale is insane though, I would not have paid that
My girlfriend and I took a trip to Buffalo and thought if prices dropped on the day of maybe we would see Paul while we were in town. Prices didn't really drop all that much, so we had pretty much given up. We walked by the box office right after the show started and the band sounded so incredible we just surrendered and ended up buying 400 dollar tickets lol. The seats were spectacular though and it was one of the greatest shows I've ever been to. So happy I got a chance to see him at least once. He was in great form and put on a killer show.
haha that is fair, but I also feel like they announced this forever ago. I do wonder how they'll be structured, and opening all 4 at the same time is definitely an unconventional approach.
Yeah that’s a really weird release strategy, I feel like there’s a pretty low ceiling of people who will go see all 4 on opening weekend (or even in theaters at all)
It's a fascinating project, because I wouldn't be surprised at it becoming a massive cultural phenomenon, and also wouldn't be surprised it it was a complete failure.
The George, Paul and John photos are pretty good but Ringo is sending me Edit: I saw better quality photos and now I'm scared of George, why does he look like a demon
lol sick. hes been working on that for a long time it feels like, im glad the rollout is lightning fast hope the alternate album cover advertised looks more like actual cover art though
