I only ever listen to the Naked version of that album, I can't even remember the last time I spun the original

I've been listening to the White Album deluxe because it's the one I have on my phone. Not Guilty is a fantastic George song they left off for some reason, what a ripper

Great song, he ended up using it for himself later on

yeah I had heard that version but only recently realised it was a Beatles song originally! the middle section with the time signature change is a really cool addition I wish was in his solo version but it's still nice

Circles from I think that same album was a White Album demo as well

I honestly don't know what they were thinking using that image as the first promo image for the films. Like, yes I understand they are not in costume for the movie or anything, but you only get one first impression.... maybe save it for when they actually look like the beatles

It looks like it could be a band picture for anyone but The Beatles

So three of them looking nothing like the person they are playing and then Mescal looks closer to Lennon but he is playing Paul.

I've seen a few side by side comparison compilations and I think they all could easily make it work depending on makeup, etc. They are huge budget films, I am sure they are going to look like them in the final product. Yet another reason this image is so strange to use right now

Picked up The McCartney Legacy 1969-73 (Volume 1)
by Adrian Sinclair recently and have really been enjoying it. Its well written and engrossing. Covers McCartney's post Beatles career at a level of detail normally reserved for his Beatles years
