I'm in love with the ordinary

Whoa, this is kinda crazy. Hearing old Paul with young John is wild. I like the song. Kinda nuts that in 2023 we just got a new Beatles song with all 4 of them.

The process behind this was very cool.

  5. Loving it! Bummer that so many people aren’t really digging in to understand the process, and how AI was used (in my opinion) tastefully to separate the audio which was previously nearly unusable.

Music, a steady riot in my soul. Prestigious

It’s amazing how clean John’s vocals sound in this compared to Free As a Bird and Real Love. I’d love to see them revisit John’s vocals on those tracks with the newer technology.

It’s crazy how this mixes 1977 John and 1995 George with modern Paul and Ringo. Pure studio magic.

My dad was a Beatles fanatic, and he would have been blown away by the process on this one.

  8. Totally agree! Ringo’s drums sound so much more Beatly than those two songs. Still love those as well, but had some very 90s production choices.

  9. John sounds incredible, as does Paul (it totally is strange hearing older Paul with young John, but I like it). It’s such a solid song and melody. My only question is where is George? I know Paul recorded the guitar solo, so trying to pick apart what George might be contributing (acoustic guitar and backing vox maybe).

According to the video it was just the solo. I had the impression that they used George's slide solo from the 90's, but I could be mistaken if you say it was Paul that recorded it. Maybe in that case it's just his "part" so he's still there in spirit.

My understanding is most of the guitar work is George's recordings from when they tried finishing the song in the mid-90s.
