This is 100% the appeal behind hard seltzers. It's because you can get a buzz without feeling bloated.
Years ago my bartender put me on Coffee flavored PBR. It was incredible. Tasted like alcoholic YooHoo. Almost too good because I drank 4 in one night and the sugar fucked up my stomach.
A brown ale or a stout can be nice in winter time when it's cold, but, but nothing beats an IPA with hints of orange peel by the beach.
Fun episode with Conan! Found it interesting that she crashed in Bob Odenkirk's guest room when she first moved to LA haha.
Yeah I was wondering how they knew each other that well considering she didn't have any scenes with him on The Bear. Did some googling, and his wife is her manager! EDIT Or her manager belonged to his wife's talent agency anyways
Just finished this today after watching through the other three seasons. Loved it. Finale was incredible. How they manage to make a single conversation feel epic is beyond me. Felt like everything the show was building up to exploded in such a cathartic way. I freaking love Syd and Richie's relationship. When she made her stipulation about him being added to the agreement, I cried. I've walked through the suicide of a close friend, the death of my mom, and an awkward relationship with my dad, so unfortunately I relate to Carmy a lot and so many of this show's themes resonate with me. I love how it captures the reality of trauma, but doesn't give characters excuses or treat them hopelessly. I find it so moving and motivating. It's like therapy. Ayo needs an Emmy. She does this cry laughing thing in episode 6 when Claire says she looks stunning that I don't think I've ever seen anyone act out before. I feel like her performance which has always been spectacular almost mirrors her character's skills... She somehow keeps getting better. Compared to previous seasons... Is it my "least" favorite so far? Maybe. But it made me cry almost every episode so that's a testament to the show's power. Season 2 did solidify itself as quite possibly my favorite season of TV ever this rewatch. Season 3 is great... I wonder if there's a correlation between people who say that season is weak and people who want someone to "get to the point" when they're telling their life story. That season deepens everything we've seen before and makes the payoff this season hit a lot harder. I love the emotional intelligence of the writers for taking their time when they do. I'll stop typing, but I think this is my favorite show.
One I thing I was thinking about that I appreciate. They could have easily made Francie Fak just a goofy female version of the other Faks (which is why people before the season were fancasting Jenny Slate and Ilana Glazer), but instead they chose to essentially make her a doppelganger of Sugar.
I have watched a few reactions to this season and it is funny how most people only know Rob Reiner from Wolf Of Wall Street or The New Girl. He had one of the greatest directing runs of the late 20th century where he put out 6 certifiable classics (Spinal Tap, Stand By Me, Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, Misery, A Few Good Men) in the span of 8 years and most people have no idea lol
Watching the wedding episode does Tiff have a connection to the Bears and the Faks other than Richie?
Wait that one guy with the thick Chicago accent who works in the beef window is the actual owner of the real Mr. Beef?
So what you're saying is we need a spin off show with Carmy, Michael, Richie, Sugar, Claire, Tiff and the Faks in high school.
And yeah the Francie Fak stuff was a miss for me but was cool seeing Brie Larson cuz I feel like ever since Captain Marvel she doesn’t appear in many other things.
