$450 is more than I spend on rent and utilities most months. I could make you a Michelin star worthy pork rib and Caesar salad for $5
Pittsburgh is relatively inexpensive. I have two roommates in a big house just outside the city. I know how to live cheap
Are you guys watching all of the food prep scenes in this show with your arms folded and a scowl on your face?
I work like 20 hours a week I don’t have extra money haha. An extravagant meal is like $20. I don’t scowl at the food but I know I would 100% prefer a beef sandwhich over that nonsense
I like fancy restaurants but to a certain extent. At some point there are diminishing returns. There’s a sweet spot price wise.
seems like it undermines the entire premise of the show if you think fancy expensive food is complete nonsense. like how is this interesting or engaging if everything they're working for is stupid
It's definitely overpriced. I've spent that much/more with drinks included at other places and felt it was worth it. If we didn't have the gift card it'd be a bigger conversation, but we've been talking about going here for at least a year now. It is what it is, we get out to a place like that once or twice a year
I can like Ghostbusters while believing ghosts shouldn’t be busted also season 3 and 4 have less cooking than the previous seasons. I can’t think of a single “signature dish” from season 4 other than Markus’ desert and Tina trying to boil pasta faster
