Yeah not sure how much more they would be able to do lol. Every major character has a neat little moment for themselves over the two episodes prior to the finale, and the finale puts those three back on the same page and they’re just gonna keep doing the work while they can. I don’t need to know if the restaurant gets a star or survives, it’s just nice they all want to be there
Like every character either said thank you or sorry or both to every other character they needed to say it to lol, if anything it almost felt too clean
I dunno, I guess I missed a lot of that. I was pretty bored by the end. Just feel like the show ran out of time by the end. I didn’t feel satisfied at all by the time the credits rolled
Still have an episode and a half left so I'm not going to read anything in here or comment on anything else regarding the season yet but if I see JLC slander after that scene with Carmen in "Tonnato" (episode 9) I will be using every tool as a moderator on this site to make sure you can never post again
It’s virtually indistinguishable except it has way less calories cheese, at its best, is unnecessary if not downright disgusting. But we don’t need to get into that here
This felt like Syd's season the same way season two felt like Richie's season. It was good. Good season, good show. Doesn't need to be much deeper than that. Would love to see them wrap it up with a fifth and final season.
The thread for a show about cooking is the perfect place for you to get yelled at your weird food and TV opinions
Honestly, it felt like Richie's season to me, as well. A lot of growth for him. Coming to terms with his ex's new husband was huge
I thought JLC was fine in episode 9. She’s not bad but it definitely felt very actor being too actor-y at times.
Really liked this and felt like it got back to what I love about the show compared to Season 3. Just fully rooting for the people to succeed and wincing when they don't or struggle to have the conversations they need to. Felt like they did the Claire storyline justice in this season. Richie continues to be my favourite.
On episode 7 and in no world did I imagine Molly Gordon, John Mulaney and Josh Hartnett would be sharing a scene in any show or movie.
I do appreciate that Abby Elliott got to be more comic relief this season. Sugar had some of the funniest parts.
