Oh my God Ayo's acting in this episode. Her best performance so far.

I was not fucking prepared for who Francie Fak was going to be lmao

 

Yeah I was crying along with her haha. It's wild to think she started as a comedian and is just this damn good in a dramatic role

 

Apparently they held this from most critics until it dropped, even the titles of the show. Seems a bit drastic. I mean, it’s not like it’s a Game of Thrones or Breaking Bad level thriller.

At episode 3 - good stuff!

Super sweet moment and episode though. Episode 7 is like an anti-Fishes

 

Episode 7 was wayyy too cute and heartwarming. The rest of this season is gonna get real dark I can feel it

 

That time of the year when my wife only has the juice for one episode of The Bear before she goes to sleep and I then watch four or five episodes ahead of her on a different Hulu profile and then pretend I’m seeing everything for the first time the following night

 

Ok I said fuck it and stayed up and finished it in one go.

I need to let it set a bit, but I loved this season. The finale might be my favorite episode of the series just from a pure acting/writing standpoint. I do foresee that some people will think the way the finale ends leaves too much hanging and unresolved though and have a "wait that's it?" reaction, but I dug it.

i will say that so far this season has felt like one long movie rather than 10 episodes. i can't explain it, but the pacing feels really good that i didn't even notice we'd gone through 4 episodes last night.

 

I feel like I am going crazy when I read reviews of s3. Someone asked if they could just skip s3 and there’s multiple replies saying yes because “no plots moved forward”. Aside from not being true, what a weird MCU ass way of watching tv

 

The subreddit for this show is weird. There's only an episode 1 discussion thread and they're telling everyone to spoiler tag your posts so mods don't get spoiled lol. This is not how you handle episode discussions.

Anyways, got through 6 episodes last night and am just so glad how much better this season is. Definitely going to finish it off tonight

 

I’m pacing myself, but the first two episodes definitely felt like a return to form.
