I love Matty and the Faks are fun but they’re basically in a different show right now so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to be irritated by that
i have seen that a lot of places and not just reddit, including actual reviews from reputable places, but yeah fak rocks
I have to imagine their on screen time across the season is like 15 mins at most so people do be whining
My thing is: What do people want this show to be? Just Carmy and Richie doing "Fuck you, no fuck you" to each other? It's already like 89% that, let the Faks live. Plus, the haunting stuff was objectively hilarious.
i love JLC/she crushed it/it’s hard to imagine it not being her but that is the kinda role that michelle annihilates every single time
2 episodes left. I was reading the thread beforehand and thought hmmm surely the Fak complaints are overblown and sure enough I was right.
i don't mind the Faks, but i would've loved more time with other minor characters in lieu of extra time with them in nearly every episode
The Faks are the Canto Bight of the show. People make such a big deal of it but it's an incredibly minor thing
Season Three was pretty lackluster for me. Happy others liked it, just didn't do much for me. Was not much progression and was very slow. Season One for me was the best because of the pacing. Highlight for me in Season 3 was Napkins, which is surprising because I was never a Tina fan. Michael was steller in the episode and I felt for Tina. That merch is pretty fire and bravo to the budget friendly pricing.
The things with the Faks is that every single scene they were in was part of the plot, just moving it along with humor, they weren't just slotted in for no reason, it works. Their hospital chat with Claire Bear was perfection and absolutely a showcase of how this show looks at community relationships.
