I know last season Hulu had an entire ad campaign from restaurant and beer companies who bought ad space specifically to reach the 18-49 educated urban living disposable income to go out demo that this show does very well with. We are probably going to see something similar tonight.
television shows make money on ads, this is cheaper to produce than something like house of the dragon so they get more return on investment, how much that is I have no idea.
Yeah the lower level actors, writers etc still don’t see jack shit from that success which obviously sucks.
Also this show is narrowcasted to a specific demo that companies pay top ad dollars for. Also besides ads there is the whole thing of subscriber sustainment and driving new/returning subscribers. Which isn't so much direct dollar revenue, but more about making the brand look good to the board as a key part of the portfolio helping drive the stock price, which this day in age making the stock look stable is more important than direct revenue.
Josh looking back on this page when he sees his ten thousandth "The Bear brought to you by Stella Artois and Grubhub" bumper tonight
oh I can’t read, you said rewatch, you don’t need to rewatch them, they yell a lot, say cousin, try and open a new restaurant, Carmy gets stuck in the walk in
