I was trying not to watch this but it auto played on a YouTube ad and I was in too deep before I thought to stop it. Felt like it showed A LOT and got me very excited but almost wish I didn’t see it. Oh well
The show is who picks what categories they submit to, they can submit to beat documentary if they want
I definitely think The Bear is more of a drama than a comedy. It just happens to also have a lot of great humor in it, too.
It is very clearly a dramedy. It is a dramedy that deals with tragedy, trauma, grief, ect, but it is still a dramedy. Dramedies are almost always considered comedies for the purposes of award shows.
I saw some comments that were like "it would never win against any dramas". Succession isn't on the air anymore so it probably would. It's better than any prestige drama currently airing.
If other networks want to compete with the bear they should worry about producing better comedies idk worked for fx
If anything people should be complaining about The White Lotus being considered a drama for the Emmys and not a comedy. It is very clearly a black comedy.
they need to just get rid of the genre terms and make the awards for half hours and hours since that’s what it essentially is now anyways
I'm sorry, but I found no humor in the Christmas Eve episode. Just a 60 minute panic attack followed by 6 more consecutive panic attacks
definitely laughed at " she's like a librarian in a porno, the motherfucking glasses came off! She's hot now Carm she's hot now " riffing from Ebon and Bernthal.
