Mulaney randomly showing up with the full Mulaney look and speech patterns during an otherwise super intense episode is definitely some of the funniest shit on television in recent memory. So completely random and out of place. Odenkirk and Curtis both completely killed it in their roles might as well hand out those guest emmys now... and then Mulaney was just there being Mulaney sticking our like a horse in a hospital

Weirdly I think it still worked though. Without him I don't think the episode could've maintained the hour+ intensity.

 

It's truly perfect. It's one of those so wrong it's right things.

 

"Of course I have access to $500, I'm a 43 year old man..." is one of the funniest lines ever

 

His dinner table grace monologue was incredible

 

honestly just give me a whole sitcom of Stevie and The Faks getting into various shenanigans

 

Yeah Mulaney was a stand-out in the episode, which is incredible considering the talent that surrounded him. He played the well-adjusted outsider so well, and still kept a high level of empathy towards the family, as if he knows they're self-destructive as a result of the trauma they cause each other.

Is 'The Bear' Filming TWO Seasons Right Now in Chicago?

It looks like they’re already filming a couple scenes for season 4 during the current season filming, my guess is to keep continuity cleaner and possibly some locations becoming unavailable.

Was watching some reaction videos of season 2 and I saw a guy who thought Coach K was a fictional in-universe character made up for the show lol how adorable.

This makes sense because it was a little wild to me they were seen shooting just a week ago. I know it’s not as technical of show in regards to editing with there probably only being minor VFX but I figured they’d want to be pretty much done with shooting by now and be fully in post, especially with the full season needing to be ready to be dropped in June.

 

Scheduling of the cast could be an issue too. JAW, Ayo, and Ebon are all on the road to becoming movie stars currently, and they have busy slates. Also they have big name actors they like to cast in guest roles. Probably filming some stuff ahead of time now while they have everyone there.
