she's just really pure and warmhearted. I think maybe it just seems tonally odd to some viewers (not me) to see someone like her in juxtaposition with all the tortured souls of the main cast.
yeah a lot of the criticism ive seen seems to be dinging her as a MPDG which seems off and weird to me
I really like her character, but said earlier they're tip-toeing in MPDG territory. I don't even think it's a character thing, moreso just the way she's photographed in some scenes, gauzy, backlit, and dreamlike. It's almost ridiculous how angelic she looks sometimes. I don't think this is a bad thing, and it adds to why Carmy would be taken out of his game.
Nah, it was to the point that my girlfriend and I literally lol'd at the scene with her and Carmy in his kitchen. Again, I don't think this is a flaw or a critique, but it's pretty conspicuous in some scenes and probably used to show how he sees her. I can't think of another character that they shoot like that, maybe the food haha.
It doesn't help that it's a bit far fetched how tight the community is on this show, like Carmy is like hey remember this girl I hung out with once in high school and his entire family and friends are like of course
I take it Carmy's never really had a girlfriend and they would tease him about a girl he showed interest in that lived on their street. Makes sense to me
Because terms like that don’t exist in wrestling or photography forums lol. Hey at least I looked it up first instead of just asking. Guess I missed out on the whole let’s give a crazy acronym to everything era
bored of this discourse, I think people just don't like the inclusion of a new character whose primary purpose is as a romantic interest
