Focassia is a ride. Reminds me a lot of that episode in the first season when they take too many orders. Ayo deserves another Emmy Also the way this show uses music to build tension is one of the best things about this show.
Good final season of a great show. That blink-and-you-miss-it Rob Reiner tribute was fantastic. Really loved the single shift narrative throughout the run.
Caramel definitely in the running for the best episode of the show. The pacing using Cisero and their mom to balance the tension of the restaurant was fantastic. The music continues to be on point. The food all looked incredible. Every character has a little moment to shine I don't think it tops Fishes, but very few episodes of television do. Still definitely a 10/10.. They could honestly have just ended it there and I'd still be satisfied with the ending
I don’t remember specific episodes offhand but the Richie episode with Taylor Swift in it is up there
Was hunting down the names for these two specifically. Two of my favorites by a lot. I’d also have Tomorrow very high up on my list
Isn’t uncle Jimmy married in early seasons? Felt very weird and random to have no mention of a divorce or anything and him just asking if he can date Deedee in the finale out of nowhere
Man what a great show. Even in the middle seasons this was still one of the best shows on television and it absolutely stuck the landing.
Finally finished up with the new season. Thought it was fantastic and quite the ride (and that goes for the series as a whole). Yeah season 3 had a bit of a drop, but I think the show retained its quality overall throughout. As other have said, it has some of my favorite character development in any tv show. Definitely gonna miss it.
