I’d love to see Hugo Strange as well at some point, but you have to have Joker in order to have a definitive Batman story — don’t see Reeves doing a trilogy without him.
It's a cliche extremely surface level choice but I don't care, Joker is still probably my favorite comic book villain of all time
Yea, there will be plenty of joker portrayals in the foreseeable future, personally im set on two face for a while as well lol Just hoping for a movie with a lesser known villain maybe the B plot eventually, I'd really like hush, clayface, or manbat but a hugo strange film could be done well in a multitude of ways. I'm hyped as fuck for Dano in this one though!
I'm pretty excited to see his take on the Riddler and to see a "grounded" version of the character. the trailers make him seem very formidable and pretty scary
IF there is to be another joker I would love someone up and coming to play him. Lakeith Stanfield I think would be my choice. Don’t @ me.
spoiler tagging a casting announcement that has been public knowledge for a year and was seen in a trailer gave me a good laugh. brain worms
Lakeith Stanfield is a good pick for Joker. I wonder if he'd want to do it. Maybe also someone like a Lucas Hedges? Or we could get real weird with it and give it to, like, Timmee Chalamet.
Chalamet doesn’t actually strike me as too odd of a pick considering the wealth of Chalamet fans that they’d want to appeal to. Weird would be casting someone like Al Pacino.
My bad, I meant that I think his performance would be super weird (in a great way), not that the pick itself is weird.
i typically don't want/like seeing interesting actors take these kinds of roles but I'm all about this supposed trilogy, on paper. i would absolutely take hedges as a villain in this universe, but i'd prefer red hood little skarsgaard isn't a very good actor imo. it's cliche but driver would rule.
